Hotel suggestion near the Rose Bowl?

->> I will be in LA in July for the Chelsea-Inter Milan soccer game at the Rose Bowl and I'm looking for suggestions of a reasonable hotel in the Pasadena area. It's a one night trip and we won't be in the room much, so amenities aren't very critical. Thanks in advance!

->> Would you be looking for a motel-type situation? If so anything on East Colorado with an address of 1200 or higher should be cheaper. Also try Eagle Rock which is adjacent to to Pas. Most of the motels there are also on Colorado Blvd. You will have a vehicle right? Both of these options will put you at least 3-5 miles from the stadium. Oh and there is also a camping area in the mountains nearby : )

Anyways I think those would be the most economical options, not that Pasadena is all that economical.

Oh yeah, and when it says "1 Hour Parking", you better believe it.

I have had family stay here a few times. It is right by a freeway junction so you can go any direction easily, and you can just drive 10 or so minutes to the Rose Bowl via Colorado Blvd or 5 or so minutes by freeway.

If you take Colorado, hit up Tommy's.
