If you are comfortable with profiles and have a hardware calibrated monitor to pre-flight your file, you can get a 48" x 72" conventional print done on a Lambda (not injet) from A&I Photographic in Hollywood CA for $170 (+shipping, I'm sure),
http://aandi.com/services.html . I have not used A&I myself but have heard good things about them. The next cheapest I found was $276. from Calypso Inc.

I usually use Elco Color Labs at
http://www.elcocolor.com/ but they only have a 30" wide printer.

The two companies that Kyle and Alan posted don't print 48" wide.
