| ->> I am planning on taking my 7-yr old son to Atlanta to watch Braves game in the next few weeks. Since it has been forever since I actually "watched" as baseball game as a spectator, I was shocked to see ticket prices. You used to be able to buy upper deck tickets and then make your way down to better seats later in the game. Is this still possible at Turner Field? or do they have ushers checking tickets all the time? |

->> Willis,
I was shocked too when I recently went back to St. Louis for a game (see my update), field box $109.00. Try Stub Hub, still floored me but you will save money. First row upper deck $70.00/each. Can't speak for Turner but at Busch moving down was out of the question. One trip a year for a typical family has got to be the outer limit of a budget in this economy, if at all. Oh, 2 dogs, a bottled water and a soft drink, $21.00......prepare yourself. Beers out of the question. |

| ->> Hey Willis -- My family and I just got back from a trip to Turner Field as a spectator. We went to a Friday night game, and paid for good seats, but the stadium had LOTS of empty seats. I think your plan would work. Ushers checked our tickets when we first got there, but once game started, people seemed to come and go at will. |
