| ->> Thanks to a crazy drunk panga captain in Mexico a couple of my bodies and lenses were covered in saltwater. Everything still works but I am worried about damage from corrosion. Any suggestions on how to ensure I don't have an expensive pile of broken electronics? |

->> if any of them were submeged, seal them in a ziploc bag(wet) and ship immediately to Canon or Midstate Camera Repair for cleaning.. Just happened to me 2 weeks ago.
If they just got wet, then wipe down with a damp cloth then dry with towel. Just make sure to clean off all over and they should be fine.
Good Luck

->> First of all the advices from Ian and Wally are good.
I don't know what gear you use.
If you use weather-sealed bodies and lenses there should be a small risk that you got saltwater inside your equipment.
To be more generally, if you ever get water inside something with electronics inside it, it's very important to remove all batteries ASAP.
And then to get it dry inside.
That's because the combination of electric power and water causes chemical reactions that will totally destroy all electronic components inside. |

| ->> Its nikon gear. 2 D700s, 400, 70-200 and 24-70. Lots of water sprayed on them and one body and the 70-200 sat in a couple of inches of water for about 10 minutes. |
