NCAA Baseball Super Regionals and UNC
Tim Steadman, Photographer

->> I've never shot college or professional baseball before. I've shot a lot of other professional sports, but just never baseball. I'm going to UNC to shoot the Super Regionals this weekend and had a few questions.

1. Is there anything unique about the UNC field/stadium I should be aware about?
2. Is there usually field access before or after the game to get shots?
3. I take it I can roam around the stadium to get shots, but are there photographer "shooting areas." If so, is there ever a battle for the "best spot."

Thanks!

->> Tim, the stadium is brand new. I doubt whether any of these questions can be answered until you get there. Look for Robert Willett from The News & Observer. He's the master of UNC coverage.

->> Tim,
I shot regional there last week
I saw no photographers on field before or after game - was told by security we could only leave photo well at visitor dugout in between innings
there are 3 areas for photographers and TV on the far end of each dugout and one up 1st row behind home plate. These could hold possibly 3 maybe 4 photographers if TV is set up there then 1 other- We were told we could sit in empty seats and roam as long as we stayed out of paying fans way, won't be any empty seats at these games (UNC v ECU)

Hope this helps
