->> Time to start scanning slides again... and it would appear my Mac G5 PowerMac ( non Intel ) with the current Leopard OS software is not compatible with NikonScan 4....
What are any of you folks with a similar configuration using... VueScan... is there a work around for NikonScan... ??
I have an older G4 I can setup as a scan station.... but how far back on the Mac software tree do I have to go to be compatible with NikonScan.. ??
Thanks for any help..

->> The problem is with the operating system you're running and not the computer hardware. If you were to install an older version of OSX, then your computer would continue to work with the scanner.
Silverfast an alternative to VueScan. From what I can tell, it's pretty dang expensive. |

| ->> I have no problem with Nikon Scan 4 and both G5 iMac and an intel MacPro in 10.5.7, so you should be just fine with your setup. |
