| ->> My Pocket Wizard was hit by Basket Ball and the hot shoe broke has anyone had this problem, it still functions, is this covered by warranty, if not does anyone know how can adapt a foot pedal or any other adapter. |

->> I don't think they are that expensive. Suggest you buy 3 so you have some spares. It's bound to happen again so a spares are a good idea and the shipping costs for 1 or 3 are about the same.
I don't even need help from a basketball or baseball to break a foot on a PW. I seem to manage breaking them pretty well by bumping my camera against my hip and snapping them off. They are designed to break to avoid damage to a camera hotshooe.
Also, very easy to replace these. |

Damage to gear like this is just another COB and can't be avoided completely. |

| ->> The unit comes apart by unscrewing the body of the unit, like splitting it in two halves. The foot then slides out and you place the new foot in and reset the contacts into the foot. very easy to replace. I replaced three last summer and they were five dollars each. |
