Emailing embed code?

| ->> I'd like to email a client the embed code for a video (not a link to the video -- the actual embed code). Sure, she can get the code if she cuts and pastes from my online video, but it'd be easier for a variety of reasons if I could just email it to her. But when I include the code in an email, the recipient never sees it - it disappears. How do I email html embed code to someone? Thanks for your help. |

->> Shelly,
The recipient needs to use an email program that can display HTML messages. The coded is probably still in the message, but the progam they are using on their end does recognize it. You will need to make sure the client/recipient is using a program that is compatible or have html messaging enabled in their email client. |

->> You really can't these days. Most email systems filter embed code for various reasons (privacy, security, etc.). Even images are filtered by many systems (GMail, yahoo, etc.).
Create a nice standalone page for the video and mail the link. That's pretty much your best shot at it. |

| ->> Why not just put the embed code in a text document and attach the document? |

| ->> Thanks for the help. I was hoping there was some character I could put before/after the code to make it show up, or some other quick fix, but it's good to know the limitations. I appreciate the input. |

| ->> I have to do this often and just save the code as a plain text .txt document and mail it off as an attachment. That's honestly the easiest way. The only possible screw-up is forgetting to include the attachment--which I do far more frequently than I should admit! |
