->> Zookbinders
Albums Inc. (look into the Renaissance Ventura self-mount albums) You can put one together with careful planning for about half the cost of a Zookbook or Pictobooks. A self mount book does not have the fit or finish of a Zook or Pictobook, but they are close.
Mpix.com aka Miller's Lab.
Graphistudio is one of the best, but too expensive for my circle. |

whcc is great for prints.

| ->> Agreed, Pictage is way overpriced unless you are doing $10,000 weddings. I have used Zookbinders for albums but will cease using them after they fraked up two of my orders by putting the pages in the wrong sequence... even though I labeled them correctly. That's just inexcusable. I'll try GraphiStudio next. |

->> When a friend asks me to shoot their wedding, I say "I'd be happy to."
When a REALLY GOOD friend asks me to shoot their wedding, I say "I'd be happy to recommend a photographer who specializes in weddings."
If this isn't something you do on a regular basis, finding a decent lab is the least of your problems. And frankly, no matter how good the lab, if you don't have an established relationship with them, you simply will not get the attention that their bread-and-butter customers do. And these days, fulltime wedding photogs ARE the bread and butter of your local lab. |

->> WHCC does a good job and includes a Tootsie Pop in each box. Yum.
Asuka Books are absolutely beautiful.
Allowing clients to order their own prints through PhotoShelter is great and incredibly convenient for you and your clients. |

->> Dave, you don't need all the hassle of researching labs and album companies. Not to mention the stress of shooting the wedding, all the time you put into editing and toning and designing the album, all the business and tax paperwork. It can add up to over 40 hours for one wedding if you're not used to the workload.
Shave years off your life by living stress-free and just send her to me. :) |
