Need info on Phase One Capture One Pro and/or Aperture 2.0

->> I have searched the message board and I can't find anything on this. Does anyone have any experience using Capture One Pro and/or Aperture 2.0 with Nikon for converting RAW files and shooting tethered.

Also, I am new to Nikon and would like software advice for working with Nikon files. I am looking for a software simular to Canon's DPP that allows easy adjustments for batch processing for 100 files. I have used Nikon NX2 and it is not as simple as Canon DPP.

->> I use C1 Pro 4.8 for my Canon and PhaseOne files. Very easy to use, very similar in appearance to lightroom/aperture. I did a head to head when 4.1 came out of the same raw file. C1 file was MUCH cleaner and had less noise and fringe at higher iso's. Feel free to e-mail me from my member page if you have any specific questions.

->> Here's a nicely designed table showing which cameras work tethered with Aperture and a few tips as well.

I have not used Aperture tethered with any camera. But, I've ran D3 files through it and they looked like a million bucks. But, if you're not happy with the way it processes raw you have the capability to make adjustments to the raw processing.

->> I can only say that for my Canon files and of course Phase One files that Capture One is totally superior for rendering much better files. Batch processing seems to be faster than Aperture. My next choice is Lightroom.
