->> I have to respond to the boxing is dead comment.
Pacquiao vs Hatton sold close to 1 million pay per view buys in US at $49.99 a pop. In the UK over 1 million buys.
Live ticket sales of over $9 million. That is over $100 million dollars generated from 1 night of boxing.
In January, Margarito vs Mosley SOLD OUT staples center.
In February Maruqez vs Diaz SOLD OUT Toyota Center in Houston
Klitschko vs Haye scheduled for June 20th in Germany is headed toward a sellout of 60,000 fans.
Some say UFC is taking over. If so, why do UFC main event fighters make under $200,000 when fighters like Pacuiao are guaranteed $13 million?
I could go on and on, boxing is doing very well. |
