->> Does anyone know where i could have a pair of classic pocket-wizards repaired? (The Old school 16 channel LPA kind)
Maymia does not repair them and i have no desire to pay $250 to upgrade to multimaxes simply because the battery terminal needs replacing.
or......
Does anyone know where i can find the correct battery terminal that fits inside said devices? |

And you may want to look at real electronics "geek" stores -- ones that sell all the diodes and things you need to build your own devices -- for a similar part. |

->> Hi David--
Wassup? OK now back on topic....
Consider going to an electronic parts surplus store for the best price, or just to a Radio Shack but be prepared to sacrifice some extraneous, superfluous, battery housing to the cause.
I know what you are up against. My own pair of PW Classic receivers are now a solo act due to a battery failure that rotted out one of the terminal posts.
It shouldn't be too much of an effort to bring a PW into an electronics store and find a match for the failed battery terminal.
If you are in a bind for one event, tape a section of paper clip across the ends of the batteries and wedge a strip of cardboard into the PW to hold everything in place. Then go to the electronic parts surplus store and find the replacement contact.
Good Luck,
