fotoQuote question
Phil Hawkins, Photographer

->> I've been using fotoQuote for a while now, and just wondered if anyone knew where those average prices come from? I mean, who contributes? Is it the same people? How many quotes comprise the "average"? Anyone know the intricacies of how this info comes to be?

Thanks

->> Hi Phil

From their web site...
"For this version of fotoQuote we spent a year looking at every source of pricing that we could find; contacting photographers, going through the pile of notes and feedback from our customers, and scouring web sites and forums to see what kind of problems photographers were having with pricing, and what kind of solutions were being suggested to solve them. In fotoQuote Pro 6 you can feel confident you are getting the most current pricing information available anywhere!"

The above referenced statement is really pretty generic. "every source", "contacting photographers" etc. Has anyone here ever been contacted? Again, not questioning validity or anything like that, just curious.
