->> 12,500 yen ($125) for this toy? That seems really overpriced given that it's basically a 35mm Holga - fixed shutter speed, choice of only 2 apertures and fixed lens.
For a little more you could pick up a real medium format TLR - I picked up a Yashicamat in excellent condition recently for $200. Add some recently-expired rolls of film ($1 each for a roll of 12) and you've got a real setup.
That said, I suppose budget-minded people aren't the real target market for this sort of product. I suspect the Lomography people will be all over this one pretty soon. |
