->> Got into a bit of a crunch with a broken shutter on my Canon Mark IIn last week.
Just wanted to thank Mark at Midstate Camera Repair for going WAY above and beyond the call, as usual.
My deadlines became his deadlines and he really came through for us.
If you are ever looking for an alternative to CPS or NPS give Mark a call at http://www.midstatecamerarepair.com
Sorry if this sounds like an ad, I'm not affiliated with them and I'm not being compensated in any way, just a very happy customer.
Regards,
Phil |

| ->> I am lucky, as Midstate is only 10 miles from my house. The guys there are great. They have repaired sheared mounts to autofocus issues. |

->> Mark spent 20 minutes on the phone with me last Friday trying to walking me through fixing/diagnosing an issue with my 400 f/2.8 Series II that Canon no longer accepts for repairs.
I've never had a business owner spend 20 minutes trying to help me fix my own lens in an effort to save me the time and money of sending it to him and pay him for the repair. The funny thing is that I just called to let him know I was sending it in and double check the shipping address. That's customer service! Oh, and by the way, I've never spent a single nickel with them and I don't know anybody there but I can tell you that due to the level of service I received Friday over the phone that they've managed to earn a very loyal customer.
You just don't see service like that anymore. I will, however, tell you that my local Canon rep, Chuckie Luzier, is the same type of guy. He goes WAY above and beyond the call of duty and he's the SINGLE reason that I stayed with Canon when I recently had the opportunity to start from scratch and choose between Nikon and Canon. As long as Chuckie is with Canon... so am I. |
