->> I am looking for help with Nikon RAW workflow, as I am switching to Nikon. I am going from using Canon DPP for my raw editing which allows image editing and cropping, and can batch process a folder of images. What workflow programs have you found with Nikon that has the same work flow? Any info will be appreciated.

->> Dwayne if you have PhotoMechanic and Photoshop you are pretty much done with it. Technically Nikon NX does a bit better job processing NEF files than Adobe Camera Raw but I haven't found any reason to use it. ACR does a great job of processing and I use Bridge for batch processing.

->> Lightroom is another option that can accomplish just about everything. Raw converter, preview of files, cropping, adjustments, and can batch process too.

->> Lightroom all the way (and sometimes a little Photoshop afterwards). I used Nikon capture and Nikon NX in the early days, but since the dawn of Lightroom, this software isn't even installed on my computers anymore.
