->> ---The N&O is basically the McClatchy wire coverage too.---
Kevin, I take a little offense at that. MCT (McClatchy Tribune Photo Service), the McClatchy wire, is here as we are every year no matter which teams make it.
While we do draw images from Robert and Chuck, we have two shooters here and of the 300 images sent from the semi-finals the majority of our images come from our own photographers.
The N&O is working on the network set up by MCT and is using camera transmitters provided by MCT so they can be wired directly into the editor in the back allowing faster filing times -- as MCT has done for years at the Final Four. |

->> I hate to knock any shooter/editor, but WRAL needs to edit tighter than what they are doing. There are at least 5 images that are not in focus in that gallery. I know it's not easy being on deadline...

->> Thanks George and my apologies. I did not know that. It truly takes a team to cover these huge sporting events.
I regret the oversight which was not intended as a dis. As Delane points out, editing is equally important to making great pictures.
I am hoping more people post links to slideshows on this thread.
Newspaper websites could use the clicks. |

->> There are some great shots from the Women's Final Four by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Chris Lee and Robert Cohen.
Here are photos from the Louisville/Oklahoma game:

| ->> Kevin, thanks for the props. George is right, the mother ship helped us out in incredible ways. My concern after seeing your post is how WRAL, a television station, received a still shooting position at the Final Four for their website use. The photographer in question supposedly is credentialed by the Fayetteville Observer...this is a HUGE violation of the NCAA photo agreement. Misrepresentation by someone obtaining a credential... |

How's the shooting with the elevated floor? Any cool new shooting lines?
Thanks |

| ->> I wasn't shooting from the floor but the elevated floor has opened up more opportunities for floor plate remotes than I've ever seen at a Final Four. |
