->> I've always admired news page designers for their visual communication skills, and, like us photographers, have to make sense out of nonsense at times.

I'm not sure if it's been said or how long ago it occurred but
http://www.newspagedesigner.com/ is no longer. It was always a source of inspiration outside of photojournalism for myself.

Photo play is very strategic to selling stories and I always do my best to coordinate with page designers, but then again that's a sore subject right now. To put it in perspective, this was the Sportsshooter of page design.

I'm sorry to add fuel to this lamenting fire but just thought I'd share. My heart goes out to the news industry, print and online, and hope the light at the end of the tunnel is soon discovered.

->> Sad indeed. It was a source of inspiration and learning what top notch design looked like. I'll miss it for sure.
