->> I know that these little guys have come up a few times in conversation . Dell is offering %20 their refurbs with this code HFSPJ2B288CR31
Might be worth a look to pick up a backup laptop for a great deal.
P.S. search Dell mini 9 and OSX for a real treat.... well that is if you are up for violating Apple's eula |

->> I've been tempted to pick one up, but unless you just want something to surf with most of the configs they are offering at the favorable price point are pretty bare bones. Still...they are kind of cool.
However, for just a few bucks more, and a slightly bigger footprint, I got a Dell 1525, dual core 2.0 ghz, 250G HD and 3G ram for $340. To me that's a real backup. |

->> I have the ASUS 901HA 8.9" with Photoshop Elements and Photo Mechanic and it works great for what I need it to do. I can load an entire 8gig card, edit and get out the 30 or so pic I need to get out FAST.
The worst part about this little computer-I am a MAC gal and learning to use a PC isn't fun. But it serves the purpose of what I needed it for perfectly, and shedding 2 plus pounds off my pack that I carry with me all day was my sole purpose of buying it. It hasn't let me down |
