->> If you not the credit "time lapse by Scott Andrews" that would be Scott from Canon USA who has been the remote guru at the Inauguration for some time -- first in his days at Nikon and now with Canon.
Scott works hard on the remotes and was up there for hours each day up to 4 or 5 days before and spent lots of time on that small platform. (I know because I was there most of the same time to wiring our cameras and helping Scott get his transmitters synced up to our FTP server)
Mark Suban of Nikon USA was setting up something similar showing the crowds assembling on the National Mall but I don't know how that came out. Mark has created a nice set up with a case housing his router and computer to make a nice portable rig. |

->> Bob,
Nice one, worth the hours in the cold. BTW, I looked at David's picture above to find you and check out your setup. |

->> Props to Scott Andrews, there is no harder working photographer in the business.
Nor are there many with the mental organizational skills Scott possesses. Then there is his sense of invention, as in the wide variety of remote triggers he has built.
At the Kennedy Space Center, he makes for many the technically overwhelming job of producing a remote image of a space launch seamlessly easy. And that's not just at KSC. As evidenced by this thread, Scott goes where ever history is being made.
Nikon's loss was Canon's gain. But it is all of us who really benefit from his efforts. |

| ->> I wondered why the camera platform was so much smaller this year. But thanks to John and Scott, I now know. Great job guys!! |
