->> Anyone else having trouble uploading to PhotoShelter? I sent off an e-mail and a voice mail, but want to know if this is an isolated problem.
I am now trying to upload through Photo Mechanic, but for the past three hours, using three different internet connections it has been freezing up on anywhere between the 3rd and 5th photo and then PhotoShelter Uploader 2 just locks up, which is usual.
.....anyone else? |

| ->> Didn't they just send out an email that they are doing routine maintenance this weekend? Maybe that's it? |

->> @Steven: Just did a test upload of 10 jpegs, using Photo Mechanic 4.5.3.2 @ 12:30pm, and PhotoShelter Uploader 2.2.11 @ 12:40 and encountered no issues with either application.
@Brian: According to the email maintenance will be "...Saturday, November 22, 2008, which will result in scheduled downtime from 6:00 pm EST to 11:59 pm EST..." |

->> Fish,
What version of PM do you have? Some versions no longer work with PhotoShelter |

->> I just ditched PhotoShelter Uploader 2 (which is what was failing), downloaded the newest version of PM and 34 of 110 files have been uploaded no problem.
No idea what the PS Uploader problem is, but updating PM seems to be working just fine!
Thanks folks |

| ->> @Steven: Just upgraded to 2.3.0 and did another test upload of 6 large jpegs @ 1:00pm, and was able to re-create the your problem with the transfer locking up after a few images... hope I can downgrade back to 2.2.11. |

->> I just did an upload with 2.30 Uploader with no problem. It was 21 files at about 10 mb each. And I have done other bigger uploads with it earlier in the week also with no problem.
If it makes any difference, I am on cable running about 1mb upload speed, Mac OS 10.4.11 |

| ->> Don't forget that you can also do FTP uploads now if the API-based methods are glitchy. Might be a bit faster since you aren't encrypting everything...and filezilla is ridiculously fast for transfers since it can do parallel streams. |
