|| SportsShooter.com: Member Message Board Photo Mechanic oddity/question Stew Milne, Photographer Providence | RI | USA | Posted: 2:20 PM on 10.24.08 ->> I have been ingesting my disks into PM and just recently a lot more files are added to my folder. Before, there were 2-3 extra index or list files, besides the image files. Camerabits contacted me and we figured out the issue. This is quoted from an email: "The extra files you were getting during Ingest are created by Mac OS X 10.5.x when it keeps track of changes made to the disk. Versions of Photo Mechanic older than 4.5.3.1 were created before Leopard was released and we did not know that the OS was going to start creating these files. Version 4.5.3.2 is the most current version of Photo Mechanic at this time and it should skip these OS created files and folders." Thanks Kirk at Camerabits.
