->> Another bit of software to duplicate what can already be done with our existing software ( Photo mechanic, Photoshop and Bridge users that is)I have tried a few of these before always going back to using photoshops file info and creating a template, if I have time I bulk append via Bridge and then add the extra detail that pertains to the specific shot.
What I really would like is a keywording software that could recognise a players face and add his name automatically, as some of the Eastern European names I type use ever letter in the alphabet I am sure!! |

->> Mitchell,
I fail to see how you can do the same thing in PM or PS.
Have you looked at the software?
Please enlighten me. |

->> I'm all for anything making life easier.
Usually I end up back in Adobe Bridge doing stuff like this.
So who will be the SportsShooter tester? |

| ->> I have not tried this particular software as they do not have a trial software section (well at least not where I currently am located) I find most of these super duper answers to each problem just involves extra cost an extra time eventually. It may be a fantastic bit of kit but when you are sitting in a soaking wet stadium shielding your laptop and camera you want something that does it all. So prior to going out you cant beat setting up a template in my opinion.. |

->> Mitchell-
I believe this software is not intended for deadline keywording, but rather for going back through your archive to make images available for stock agencies. |

| ->> Ok I take your point about archiving for stock agencies, but you could stil save yourself a few bob by using the software you already have. Had they offered a 1 month trial I may have changed my opinion but to for out $99 on something you already have, is a bit daft. |

| ->> I have read the software description!! and it sounds a little patronising in a way!! It may be my English way of interperating American advertising.. I would love to test the software for 10 days or even just 10 photos to prove myself wrong, as I have said befpre I have tried lots of these super duper answers to our problems! No free trial (Not on the site i am seeing as I am currently in Austria) sounds to me like good sales pitch but not a good product (I dont have time to read every forum) I may sound cynical about it. But I am sure I am not the only person in the past that has fallen for a great sales pitch to find the product is a little bit pants!! and for all you guys that have replied, how many of you have tried it? |

->> It is NOT a CAPTION software for PHOTOJOURNALISTS, like Photo Mechanic or Bridge. It is a KEYWORDING software for STOCK photographers.
Like other keyword software, it comes with a built-in dictionary/database. But the novelty is that it use other similar images, already keyworded, to suggest keyword you could/should use.
The "watch video" link should help understand the concept.
BTW, English is my second language too ;-) |

->> From my introductory e-mail:
As with all of our programs we have a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee, so check it out.
That's better than 10 days, Mitchell.
I have not tried the software yet. I do recommend doing so before slamming a product or recommending it. |

->> Ok so you guy overseas trust everyone to return your funds I think we have already established the fact I submit straight from the event. but even so a trial of the software beats paying and hoping for your money back, oh and I AM EVEN MORE PIDDLED now than before because of the German Football fans.
Remember just because a guy states an opinion different to yours, does not mean he is right!! |

->> Mitchell,
The company is extremely reputable. They created FotoBiz and FotoQuote.
I feel like I am stuck in a nowhere conversation on a bar stool trying to slink away. So on that note ... I'll bow out.
Enjoy the buzz ... |
