photo mechanic keyboard shortcuts

->> Can anyone tell me the photo mechanic keyboard shortcuts for:

- Tagging a photo in the preview mode
- Rating a photo with stars in the preview mode
- Getting rid of zoom while in preview mode (after I use command-+, I can only zoom out to 1/4 and the only way I have found to take off zoom to see the full frame is to decheck the box in the toolbar)

Thanks a ton,
Dreier Carr

->> For the color tags, it is 1-0 while on a selected image. To apply a check mark to the image, hit "t" while on the image. For the stars, it is ctrl+0-5 while on the image. Not sure about the zoom. All of these shortcuts are on a Mac. If you are running windows, it might be different.

->> Zoom is simply "Z" to toggle the zoom on/off (while the + and - control the zoom). Stars are using ctrl + 1-5.

All of this and MUCH more can be found using the CameraBits site...

http://forums.camerabits.com/ Forum is useful for all sorts of PM help.

http://www.camerabits.com/site/support.html On this page is a downloadable manual (with all of the shortcuts listed).

->> ah, awesome. Okay, so I feel a little dumb about the zoom, but I guess the stars weren't working because Leopard maps ctrl-1-4 to change through spaces.

Thanks for the link to the manual, that is incredibly helpful. I should have looked through there a while ago.

Thanks again guys
Dreier

->> In thumbnail mode:
T = tag image
T(second time) = remove tag from image
Ctrl-T = select all tagged images
Ctrl- = remove tag
Ctrl+ = add tag
Ctrl-Y = copy or move file
Ctrl-A = Select all
Ctrl-I = Info or IPTC Caption field
Ctrl-G = Cues the ingest dialog box

Ctrl-M = rename file
Holding down shift on the PC or option on the Mac will reset the sequence counter to 0. This saves you a bit of time hitting reset in the sequence dialog box.

Ctrl-E = Edit in desired imaging program (must be configured in preferences to work with your image editing program)

In preveiw mode, you don't always need to use the Ctrl key. Some shortcuts are just the letter... such as T and E.

In preview mode:
O = one image preview
H = horizontal side-by-side image previews
V = vertical top & bottom image previews
Z = zoom
Z(a second time)= original image preview
+ = zoom in
- = zoom out
] = rotate 90 right
[ = rotate 90 left
F = fullscreen mode or fullscreen off
R = restore panes; show EXIF, you may need to use this if F doesn't toggle EXIF data off/on screen. Sometimes the program gets stuck in fullscreen mode. I don't know why.
