->> So i need to make some contact sheets with captions to send out and normally I use aperture which works great. For some reason aperture wants a new serial number which i dont have any more for some reason. I also have photo mechanic but am having trouble getting captions to get show up on the PDFs. If someone could maybe send me a message letting me know how to do this on photo mechanic or let me know of another hopefully free program that does the same. A personal message would be great. Thanks for the help.

Josh

->> Josh,

On a Mac...

From PM select the pictures you want and then go File ->Print.

From there select contact sheet. If you put "{filenamebase} -- {caption}" in the thumbnail title (but take out the quote marks) you will get your picture's filename followed by two dashes and the caption.

Obviously you will need to select how many pictures to put on each sheet and things like that.

Once all that is done, then go ahead and hit the print button. Once the print dialog comes-up you can select PDF from the button at the bottom of the print dialog and create a PDF of the contact sheet instead of printing it to a printer.
