I know that it is freeware but CoffeeCup is really simple. I am now using Fetch with my Mac, but for free, coffeecup was simple and easy.

->> I've been using RFtp PRO for ages and find it to be a solid program. I think it is $29.00 and is downloadable from here in trial and licensed versions:

->> Another vote for FireFTP in Firefox. I just click on the icon in Firefox and it opens a new website tab in the window I'm already using.
It may lack some of the features of the more costly ones... but for transferring photos to my web server, it works perfectly for me. Plus it's free, you can't argue with free. |

->> Andrew:
I've used Photo Mechanic's FTP function without problems. However, I've only used it to transfer files to folders that had already been set up on the receiving server using another utility. I've not carefully explored PM's FTP program, but I've never seen a way to pull up the FTP server, create folders, etc. that other programs provide. |

->> I use PM's FTP and FTP to PhotoShelter. Both work well but as pointed out earlier there doesn't appear to be a way to list the FTP contents, create or delete folders. It's not really a full-blown FTP program. It's for uploading.
For full FTP control I use Bulletproof FTP (www.bpftp.com). It's only like $30 but does everything I need. Been using it for a long time and see no need to switch.

Finding a reliable ftp program for PCs has been a bit of a headache for me over the years, but I just downloaded FireFTP and am pretty stoked - fast, simple, and so-far so-good reliable.
