Breeze Browser replacement on Mac

| ->> I'm a recent Mac convert. One of the Windows programs I used and love was Breeze Browser Pro. For quick browsing, resizing, and sharpening, it was a great product. I have both Photo Mechanic and CS3, but have not found a way to duplicate the functions in Breeze Browser. I have Parallels, but have been unable to get it to run consistently. Any suggestions? Basic functions I would like are resizing and sharpening on a folder of jpg images or some CS3 actions that might accomplish the samething through Bridge. |

->> Why not use the image processor in Bridge - you can apply an action as a size and it converts them. With CS3, you can do this for jpeg as well as raw.
Otherwise, you might look into Lightroom. |

| ->> John: I don't have an answer for you, but a question. Are you running CS3 as a Windows application? and if so, is that with Parallels? Just wondering how that works for you and why you chose it over Boot Camp. Thanks. --Russ |

->> Russ,
I'm running the Mac version of CS3. I chose parallels rather than boot camp so that I can just run the applications I need and keep into a mostly Mac environment. I guess I'll have to see if that was the correc choice.
Mike,
I'll check into building some actions. I habitually run into problems with Bridge actions doing the right closing on a batch of jpgs, but I have not spent a lot of time working on it.
Thanks

->> Hey John
Regarding the Parallels, I have a close friend who uses Parallels on a MBPro everyday as a software developer. The stability is critical for him, and it works perfectly. Rarely, has to reboot. He discovered and now loves the Mac, but needed the Win environment for the development tools he used.
Check out or maybe reinstall your Parallels and Windows. Sounds like something is a little goofed up there.
Good luck |
