Great Job. |

->> If I may ask a dumb question?
Does mounting a camera like this on the wing tip of a glider cause any aerodynamic / flight control issues ? |

| ->> I don't think so (I can't say for a glider specifically) - I've mounted a remote on the wing of a flying boat (yes, they do exist - http://www.flying-boat.com/ ) and the only issue that the pilot encountered was the weight when not flying (i.e taxiing, etc). The second time I did it, I just mounted a second camera on the other end of the wing - balanced it right out! Granted, the speeds are different than with a glider like in Julian's images, but I imagine it would be similar. |

->> I don't think it's dumb at all Kevin... I wondered the same thing. Especially since gliders are so lightweight. I imagined the pilot with the yoke turned ever so slightly to the left to keep it on the horizon. Kind of like having a low tire on your car. But then again, I'm not a pilot, nor do I play one on TV.
Anybody know? |

| ->> The weight of the camera and mounting... I bet the pilot didn't have any problem turning right. |

| ->> As a pilot, I can tell you that if I had that mounted to any of the planes I fly, I would feel it and have to compensate for it. There would be a significant increase in drag on that wing. |
