| ->> Looking for a site that I can upload, say Friday night HS football game pics, to. They post them, mom & dad can browse, choose and order through the site. They do the prints and all that bs, and I get a check on what sells. Anybody? |

->> This is an extremely common question, you would benefit from a quick search of the index.
My suggestion is exposure manager (www.exposuremanager.com) You might also look into photoshelter.

->> I use SmugMug. Everything is very easy to set up and maintain - you can right-click protect, watermark, password-protect, customize domains, to name a few. Storage space is plentiful, and you can purchase backup disks whenever you please.
Check it out: SmugMug.com

good luck! |

->> I use both PrintRoom and Photoshelter. Each has their strengths. Print Room (www.printroom.com) simple and easy for proofing, and facilitating all the ecommerce, printing, emailing and shipping. They're per print charge is really reasonable. Photoshelter (www.photoshelter.com)provides the all around solution including the option for the client to download the high-rez image. By uploading the complete file you have an off-site backup to your images.

| ->> Another bump for PRINTROOM.com. You don't even have to use me as a reference! :-) I signed up a couple years ago for free (as a courtesy to Sportsshooter members). They give you a software to use, that makes it SO easy it's scary. I upload the photos using the software (after telling it what folder my images are in - it creates the thumbnails automatically, puts a "Proof" stamp on it, and uploads them. I just send the potential customers the link, and forget about it until I get an email to send in the full size images b/c I have an order pending. Great stuff..mention that you're a SS member, and they may still give you your first year free. Either way - good luck with your search. |

->> I'll chime in for Printroom as well. I shoot a local high school for a news site, they provide a link to my printroom site where the parents order. I try to have it all uploaded before I call it a night on Friday nights and usually by the time I get up on Saturday, I have orders pending.
I will second what David said about the uploading being easy.
I don't think you will get a discount for being an SS member now but, their $99 a year fee I have only paid once and that was the first year.
Their customer service is great. My sales manager Jim, once contaced a customer who was having trouble with their credit card going thru and made arrangements with the guy for payment by check.
I have had some feedback from some of my customers how easy it is to use the site and navigate about on it. Everyone has been very happy with the quality of prints from 4x6 all the way up to 20x30 posters. Payment and check out is pretty simple according to what I have been told. |

->> I would be curious to hear from anyone else who's been using Pro Stock Plus. I've received several telemarketing calls from them recently and just the experience with them on the phone has not been good. Pushy, rude and arrogant would be three words that come to mind. They pretty much trash all other companies and try to say how they're above everyone else.
I've been with Printroom for a few years and have been pleased with their service and the way that's worked for online sales of youth and high school sports. I'm not against switching, but would think that at the very least the process ought to be an enjoyable one. That didn't appear to be likely with PSP, but I'd be open to hearing what others might have to say about them. |

->> After just receiving another harassing phone call from Photo Stock Plus, I'm still interested to hear from anyone who has had actually had a positive experience with this outfit. As it stands now, I think I'd rather have teeth pulled!!
First, their initial call was at a very bad time and I indicated I would be interested in hearing about their service at another time. Well, that must have been my big mistake as they've taken that to mean I will sign up. Literally, they keep telling me I told them I would sign up with them. Sheesh. Reminds me of the ol' used car salesman on the edge of town!
I can't imagine they actually think someone will do business with them when they act like they have. So, at this point I guess I'm curious more than anything. |

->> I got a call from them last week, and politely explained it was a bad time and to "try me" next (this) week...
I was off for Columbus day yesterday, spending the day with my wife and they called twice...
Today it was three times--No voicemails, though.
I wonder what tomorrow holds... |
