->> I downloaded a demo copy of Photoshelter and used it to check. Actuations is showing as 119,000. Isn;t this camera supposed to go 200k?
Thanks

| ->> Phil... I feel your pain. It's hit or miss with the average being 200K on cameras. Mine went on the Mark II after 78K. Since the shutter replacement, it's now nearing 400K without a problem. |

| ->> PhaseOne converters have a "image serial" which is the shutter count... if you guys use that. It's part of a pop-up that appears when you roll over images in the browser. |

->> Phil,
The shutter in my first Mark2 blew at 84K 16 months after purchasing it brand new. So much for 200K rating. It cost $500 to replace (actually less than that as the nice folks at CPS decided that I needed a new top plate for it too). |

->> Clark,
I think you got hosed. I'd raise hell. Irvine is much better at taking care of those things than wherever you sent your's to. My 580EX flash went out, it was out of warranty by only 30 days, and they fixed it free.
Andrew, thanks! I saw that later after I posted this thread.

Thanks Michael,
I downloaded that program and it gave me the actuations on my 2 1D's and my Mark II N. It was very simple and straight forward. |
