->> I gotta add a comment here about CameraBits. This past Wednesday, I posted a question on CB's website inquiring if they could incorporate the ability to sort based on aspect ratio (needed for a 3rd party resizing app). Kirk replied that they would work this into the next version of PM, and imagine my amazement that only two days later this feature found its way into the release!
"Added {aspect} (or {aspt}) and {aspectcrop} (or {aspc}) variables for calculating the image aspect ratio (width / height) and cropped aspect ratio (crop width / crop height."
This is astounding customer service.! |

->> That they are.
Have you ever experienced a software company where the programers/engineers are so accessible. Photo Mechanic is the closest thing to custom software at "over the counter" prices. |

->> Yep, just downloaded the new version, and tried to sort base on aspect ratio, and wow, it works! This is gonna be very useful for me in one particular stage of my workflow.
Two days from putting in a request to seeing the requested feature appear in a released version of the software. Must be SOME kind of record. |

->> Steve,
I never thought of asking for that! You don't want to know the hours that I spent in the past sorting manually. My license expired in May and I had been waiting to see what would come out before re-upping. Looks like it's time :)
Kirk is the best reason for buying the program. Robert is right, there are very few companies that produce 'canned' software that update as often or add custom features with such speed and ease. |
