->> YES, can anyone actually batch images using this? Great sofware, but I can't get the batching of images to work. No one at Nikon responds to emails. NX does some things none of the others can do(at least easily) and I am unable to apply those to hundreds of images without the batch ability. Can anyone point me to a NX resource?
Thanks.

->> When, 99% of the time, I shoot RAW files with my D2x or D200 I use Photo Mechanic to view and caption, and Capture NX to do the basic editing, unsharp mask and save as a jpeg before I transmit.

If I am shooting in good light, it is very difficult to see a difference between a D200 RAW to Photoshop image and a D200 RAW to Capture NX image. Capture NX seems to handle ISOs above 640 better than Photoshop.

All the hockey images on my page at this time, "DEL 06/07 - Iserlohn Roosters vs. Krefeld Pinguine 0:4" are D200 ISO 800 with my 200 f 2 at f2.2.

When I edit hockey images, I try to show detail in the ice and detail in the black uniforms.

->> To Batch just make all adjustments to a photo then go under batch and save settings. You can also copy setting and paste them 1 by 1 if you just have a few to do.

After you have your settings saved then just use the batch setting. I think it is easiest to do if you put all those you need to process in a separate folder.

->> I thought others would like to know that the same day I made my original post on this thread, a representative from Nikon's Hardware and Software Applications contacted me and he was able to assist me with my batching issues with NX, and he is not a member as far as I can tell.

It is great to know that a company like Nikon has people that take the time to address issues with any products.

See it is true you never know who is reading the posts on this site, people from throughout the industry.
Thanks again to Nikon and the great people they have representing them.

I meant to post this earlier, but I have been very busy this week.

For those that are interested, batching would not run because, Base Adjustment changes and Control Points can't be transferred image to image unless the
scenes are nearly identical in composition and exposure. so I had to run just base adjustments to get the batching to work.

->> I wish he would contact me. I've been trying for a hour to figure out where my "Capture Product Key" is. I want to get the upgrade from Capture 4.2.2 to NX and it's about the most frustrating thing I've ever done. Shouldn't these keys be accessable when I open Capture? I've gone to my account on Nikon's site but my Capture program isn't listed. I remember having the CD's but I'm not sure where I bought them.

Can anyone help me with this?

Interestingly, I found listed on my account three 17-35mm f/2.8 lenses and a D50...All news to me.
