Quick Question about: Photo Mechanic
Patrick Smith, Student/Intern, Photo Editor
Forest Hill | MD | USA | Posted: 6:06 PM on 01.09.07
->> I just got my first Mac Book Pro (roar of cheers!). I had two quick questions reguarding Photo Mechanic.

1. This is just a downloadable program, correct? No boxed CD product. (e.g.
http://www.camerabits.com/)

2. Is the licensing transferable to another Mac system or no?

Thanks in advance!

->> 1) yes and yes. Once you buy a license they will send you a cd as well. 2) PM is a per computer license, but if you license two computers, you can use the same password for both machines.

->> Actually you are allowed to have it on two machines in the same way that Adobe permits Photoshop to be installed on two machines. IIRC, that info isn't on the website - or atleast not easily found - but is included in the email you receive when you buy the program. I definitely have it installed on both my desktop and my laptop.
