Do-It-Yourself projects

->> I was on the makezine.com website looking for helmet cam ideas for another thread, and I ended up spending most of the afternoon looking at various DIY projects that should appeal to photographers. The ones I especially liked are below.

There are tons of other cool photo-related DIY projects that require soldering, knowlege of circuit boards and components, access to specialized components, etc. but most of that stuff is over my head so I didn't include it (people are doing some cool stuff with hacked "one-time-use" video cameras). I would love to hear about others' success with those high-tech projects though.
