->> I'm having some trouble batch adding keywords, captions, credit etc... to files in Photo Mechanic. I am entering info to the IPTC Stationary pad, then clicking “Close stationary.” I'll then select all the images, and hit "Apply IPTC Stationary Pad to photos". The results are inconsistent -- sometimes it works, other times it only works on certain images, and other times it never works. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

->> Are you making sure the little checkbox next to the field you want to add is checked?

->> Save the IPTC info (if you use the same thing over and over) to your desktop. Then you can retrieve it whenever you need it. Just hit "load" in the IPTC info window and choose the file. You can save as many as you need.

->> Ok, cool. Thanks for the info. I've taken both of these routes, and sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. I'll keep at it.

->> how does one take the caption words and have them automatically break down into keywords?
