->> It's that time of year again and I was wondering who is shooting which NCAA Bowl games this holiday season....
I will be at the Champs, Citrus and BCS National game with the Buckeyes and GATORS!!

->> I get to shoot USC at the Rose Bowl, the only good thing about them losing to UCLA.
I know this is off the topic a little but they truly need a playoff system. Take the top eight, play four games two weeks before New Years, two games one week before New Years, and then have a National Championship game.
Mid December is boring with no College Football so that would create 6 more games, excluding the National Championship Game, for TV to air and make money, 6 more games for us to shoot, and 6 more games for fans to watch during those dreaded non football weekends before the new year.

->> I'll be shooting Michigan, the SECOND best college football team in the country. For some strange reason (I forgot why)they are not playing against the number ONE team in a bowl game.
"A young man hired by a supermarket reported for his first day of work. The manager greeted him with a warm handshake and a smile, gave him a broom and said, “Your first job will be to sweep the store.” But, I’m a OSU graduate,” the young man replied indignantly, “I even played football there!” “Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t know that,” said the manager. “Here, give me the broom, I better show you how”.

->> If I have anything to say about it, I'll be sitting on a beach in Ibiza getting hammered. I've been asked to shoot a few bowls but to be honest, my body and my mind need a vacation and I'm taking bowl season off. Since it's the years finale the images have virtually no resale value unless the game is a barn burner or it's the Championship game - from a gamblers standpoint it's a better bet to stare at half naked women with my toes in the sand and margaritas spilling down my chin/chest/stomach/thighs.
Speaking of vacations, who out there in SS land wants to go to Amsterdam after the Superbowl? (which I'm also avoiding at all costs for above said reasons.) Email me off list. |

I heard the Superdome is very nicely lighted? 'Hope so.
This will be the first bowl game (8 p.m. Eastern Friday, Dec. 22 on ESPN2) at the Dome since Katrina. |

I could however be persuaded to extend my stay in the warm sunny Phoenix area to cover the championship game if anyone wants/needs coverage ... since I'm sure there will be a shortage of sports photographers in the area around that time :) |
