->> Just thought I'd give a shout-out to one of our newest members, Jace Delgado. He's one of the main reasons why I have decided to pursue photography as a career. I would have never been able to have this much fun as a photographer if it wasn't for you. The moment I saw those big white lenses I was hooked. :)
Thanks Jace!

->> Welcome to the site Jace.
I have to say that I probably wouldn't be a photographer now if it weren't for you. You gave me the needed shove in the right direction at the right time. |

->> Welcome Jace.
I love his quote..."I eat, breathe, and dream about photography"
THAT is what makes those succeed. It's THAT passion, THAT desire, THAT need.
I never met him personally but the fact that 2 of our men here are photographers becasue of Jace certainly says something about this extra-ordinary man. I hope to meet him one day.

->> Well golly-gee, I never expected to imapact so many people in a positive way. Thanks a million folks.
Yeak Nick, I remember when I bought you your first SLR back in, what....1999-2000? A Manual Pentax with a 70-210 f4 lens. And you came to one of my classes and did well as I recall. All that ice cream I would buy you and your wife.
Does she still like to stir it up? Ha Ha.
Yeah man. Glad to see you are still with it and using (I AM a little biased) ®Canon.
And to my other pal Drew...what can I say....for years I have helped shoot and design the High School yearbook that we both attend(ed)(me 88 Grad). Now that you are on board as a Sophmore and kickin butt even if it IS 90% of the time with the 15mm fisheye ha ha. This is the first year I haven't had to shoot as much there...because you are cleaning house! You are good and only getting better Drew.
To both my buddies, and any I make in the future, NEVER forget why you shoot. If this was the 1600's I'd expect us all to be painting the local sword dueling event or the local horse carriage accident and with pride and eagerness to capture the mood as intense as it would allow itself.
Everything I see with my two eyes, is a photo, it just takes time to get into my camera!
Again fella's thanks for your kind words, and Debra, you too. Hope we can meet as well. Photographers are brothers and sisters of a different breed.
Take Care! |
