| ->> Anybody have problems burning DVD's using Photo Mechanic? I just burned four archival gold DVD's and when i put them back in my MAC to verify the images are there - the DVD's just pop back out. |

->> I have not had that issue. Despite the fact that Kirk does read the boards here have you posted this on the Camera Bits forum?

->> Well ... It appears it's a computer issue not a PM issue. I tried burning on Toast 7.2 instead and same problem - DVD won't show justs pops out of my MAC. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
I just love watching the money I spent on the Archival Gold DVD's just go into the wastebasket. |

->> Blank DVD's will show on desktop. After burning a DVD it will mount on the desktop. I eject the DVD, it no longer (no matter what I do) will mount on the desktop and allow me to view images.
I tried archive DVD's I have saved. They will not show on desktop either.
Any help appreciated. I am sure there has to be a MAC guru out there somewhere. |

| ->> Try setting up your MAC to "close" the DVD when you finish recording. Some recorders leave them "open" for further recording. If you leave them open, my experience says that they cannot be read by a MAC. Why, is a ? to me |

->> Robert - How do I set that?
I haven't been able to find it, and after many hours on the phone with APPLE support yesterday, I am hunting around for an external burner. I bet it's something as simple as setting the MAC to close the DVD. |
