Why ps opens raws out of order?

| ->> I have a macbook, every time I open raws with the raw converter in PSCS2, it opens in some kind of order that i can't figure out. I would like it to open them in numbered order. When I open the dialog box there all in order so I hit the first one & scroll down to the last picture & hit it to select all, useing the shift key, then the open button. What i'm I doing wrong? |

This used to drive me nuts until I realized you have to put them into Bridge first, then, open them in Bridge using camera raw. This way they will come up in the sequence you have chosen in Bridge.

->> If you send them from Photo Mechanic, they come up in order as well.

| ->> I'll try it from photo mechenic. I don't use bridge, as it is so slow to open 500 to 1500 raws. Why doesn't ps not have this problem with a pc? Anyway thanks for the help I'll use pm from now on. |
