->> I think I saw a P.I. on TV working for celebrities who claimed he had a way of neutralizing digital cameras. He didn't elaborate, however, and I had doubts about his claim, much like my doubts about this.
I would have to see a lot more to believe this could actually work. If and when it does, I'm sure there will be some kind of protection devised to protect expensive cameras from this kind of assault.

| ->> We can probably put some sort of high-quality half-mirrored lens cover over the front element, then bump the exposure up a couple stops to compensate. That ought'a fix 'em. |

->> Or, we can show up En masse at places that have this in use. How many cameras can this system defeat at once? Figure 100 camera toting photojournalists all start taking images at once and this system could have a serious overload.
Excuse me, I'm just gonna lie down over here now and stare at the pretty clouds. |

->> Not to worry, folks:
However, the system may never actually work against
single-lens-reflex cameras (SLRs), as they use a folding-mirror
viewing system that masks the CCD except when a photograph is
actually being taken.

->> This only works with cameras designed to be defeated by the device.
