->> Ah... they made it ...

There's a nice little addition to the color-code display widget in the bottom-right of a contact sheet. Right click it and you can save the current settings as a default which will be used whenever a contact sheet is opened.

Another nice tweak is... if you drop an image on the PM icon, it'll open the containing folder with the image selected. This occurs with single or multiple images.

And finally, if you have a bunch of images selected, throughout the contact sheet, and then delete them, PM will no longer lose track of the area you were working in and move to the first image in the sheet like it would previously. Now there's a good attempt to determine which should be the next image selected after the images are deleted, which will keep the sheet positioned where you were working.

I'd like to thank Kirk for his responsiveness. These changes were the result of a couple late night emails. He had them in place within a day, and a version of PM off to me to test that evening.

Sweet!

->> Also cool: There is now a Upload to PhotoShelter button in the top menu bar - so one click on the familiar 3-green-bar logo will bring up the PhotoShelter upload screen.

You can customize the contents (and arrangement) of your toolbar by selecting "Customize Toolbar..." from the "View" menu. This isn't exactly new to Photo Mechanic, but the inclusion of a PhotoShelter button is!
