Pink Files

->> Does anyone know why I get pink files when ingesting using Photo Mechanic? Heres what I know. I have a Mac Bool Pro and when I ingest my files they come out pink. When I open them they are your normal looking photos. The files are not damaged or anything they're just these bright pink files sitting in my folder. When I copy them, by dragging them to the desktop, they are fine. Any idea?

->> Jerome, Kirk Baker should be able to help you on this. Try the Camera Bits forum. http://forums.camerabits.com/

As Gray said, the camera bits forum (starring Kirk Baker) is the best place to go when you have any Photo Mechanic questions. This problem has been solved with the release of the beta 4.4.3.1. The link is located in the forums under announcements. I first brought it to their attention in Jan/Feb when the first Intel macs were released. Technically, the file isn't pink/red, just the generated finder icon (thunmbnail). Kirk is the BEST!

->> I got them back to normal by copying them again. I couldn't ingest them again since there were 3 months worth of pictures. Hope this helps.
