->> Thanks for the update. Seeing your article (http://www.sportsshooter.com/news/1492) this morning was the first thing I had seen anywhere announcing the final version release.

So far my favorite new feature is the "Search" function utilizing Spotlight on OS 10.4 Tiger. The only downside for me is that typing in IPTC caption boxes is slower on my computer then with PM 4.3.8 (the text or cursor moves lag behind).

->> Kevin...while I type really slow (and make a LOT of mistakes), I can possibly see what you're talking about with the lag in IPTC.

Try reloading the software again.

->> I'm currently running PM 4.3.8 for Mac (OSX) and just tried the software update feature. It takes me to the camera bits webpage which informs me that

"Your current version 4.3.8 of Photo Mechanic for Macintosh is up-to-date."

What gives ? Should I just go and download the "trial" version from the webpage and re-enter my reg code, or is this a non-upgradability-between-major-version-revisions issue ?

Anyone ?

->> Funny thing is that my version of 4.4 (beta) ran fine...until I quit the program...upon relaunching it, it told me that my beta had expired...so I had to D/L the new version off their site:

->> Nic, same thing when I tried the update button, I just downloaded the new version and entered my license info, as it states on my software I have updates for a year. and everything went fine.
P.S. I use the PC Version of the software and I already love all the changes.
