I hate to be too paranoid but the “Red Flag” went up for me when he asked about buying my camera. Anybody else get this same inquiry. |

->> This is one of the biggest scams going on the internet. It happens everywhere - on any website where people sell items personally. Please be aware!
I listed a Leica lens for sale about a month ago. In my text I said I would ONLY sell this item to a SportsShooter.com member - and I didn't get one of these scam notes.
My suggestion: Don't sell to anyone whose identity is questionable, no matter how great the deal is. And don't buy anything from anyone whose identity is questionable, no matter how great the deal is. |

->> Each email from this website has a copy of the IP address from the sender. It's possible to determine the general area where an email originated from using a locator like the one at the link below.
I wouldn't use this to guarenteed way to filter out any potential fraud, but it should save you some time when the locator says that the sender lives in Lagos, Nigeria.
