Need help on editing photos
Alan S. Rubin, Photographer

->> All info will be helpful.
On Sunday next month I will take photos for a golf tournment for 19 teams with 6 players on each team. 1 team photo and 1 photo of each player a total of 133 photos. What photo program should I look for to edit these photos? I think tha PS7, which I have, will be to slow for all edits. I do not want to purchase the Nikon capture program. These photos must be finished on Monday night for delivery on Tuesday after the final round. I am using a Nikon D1h with windows xp.
Thanks to all.
Alan

->> Alan,

PhotoMechanic and Nikon Capture both have free, trial periods so you can get through this edit without a purchase.

Go with PhotoMechanic. It is much faster, more intuitive and much less frustrating than Capture. (capture does open up a lot of features on Nikon cameras that PM doesn't give you -- but simply editing a take PM is the way to go)

PhotoStation is another to look at. It probably has a trial as well.

You can also look at Adobe's Bridge which comes with CS, but may be a free, separate download.

->> I'm partial to FotoStation Pro. I find it's more user friendly than PM. Then again, I'm using a PC. So their might be some differences there.

Godspeed, be safe and always have fresh batteries
