Is there such a program

->> I shoot for a college SID he stated that he did not want too large of a file on each photo, due to it taking up to much space on his hard drive. The question I have is there a program or a way that will copy the photos to a smaller file automatically if I shoot at the larger resolution.

->> You can set up a simple batch command in Photoshop that will downsize the files according to your specifications. A Google search will turn up more than enough links detailing the process very closely.
