Digital retouching

->> Help,
I have had to shoot an assignment with a Nikon D1. (normally using the D1H) The images had to be shot in an art gallery with low tungsten lighting at the last minute (the studio setup was eliminated at the last second!)
So it was white balanced and underexposed one stop on purpose so I could shoot at a greater depth of field, and pull it out as I normally do in Photoshop.
Now after 40 hours in Photoshop, and using Photo Mechanic, Morie Eraser, etc, I have an image I can almost enlarge to an 8 x 10 in black and white. The color shot continues to have patches and blotches.
Does anyone know of the best digital retouchers in the US? Tokyo? It does not matter, I need to have an 8 x10 of this image and perfected.
HELP!
Craig Melvin
