->> Yes, use the sponsors. They have an excellent reputation for great prices. And, don't go by what's on their websites - CALL the rep listed on the sponsor page or one of their salespeople who are listed as contacts and identify yourself as a member of SportsShooter.
This is an good thread to check for alternate names at the sponsors...

I just bought a 70-200L f2.8 USM from Laura Madden at Samys. She went way out of her way checking on things for me. |

| ->> It's been said before, but I'll repeat it, you are much better off developing a good relationship with a supplier (or two) than searching for the absolute lowest price. Other photographers have told me of instances when their equipment was stolen, and a store with which they had a good relationship sent them new stuff, then waited until the photographer's insurance check arrived to be paid. You don't get that kind of service from people you don't know. Any of the Sportsshooter sponsors would be a good choice. Personally, I deal with Roberts, but I have also bought from Samy's. Others I know speak highly of Penn. |

| ->> Suggest you call Jody at Roberts. Tell Jody you're a sportsshooter. It will make a difference. Or wait a couple of weeks when I put mine up for sale. Less than 500 actuations. |
