I've got a photo mechanic question for all of you out there. I am trying to use Photo Mechanic's ingest function to copy our cards, rename, and apply IPTC info all in one swoop. But today, I was watching it ingest my card and it would skip numbers randomly. Curious, I checked the copied files against the card, and sure enough... it copied 358 photos. 408 were on the card. Any chance you've got PM setup to only ingest locked files? Behavior like you describe is one of the things that happens when an invalid/hacked/whatever serial number is used to register the program. We have 3 computers in the office, and the one in the middle didnt even have our name on it.. Our IT guys reinstalled it properly and its working now..
