PhotoMechanic 4.3.1 problem/fix

->> The newest version has a problem with Win2000. It won't let you open any folders that aren't on the desktop and you can only copy photos to the desktop or the folders on it. The disk drives and their directories are not accessable.

According to Camera Bits, version 4.3.2 will be posted on their web site this weekend to fix the bug.

Another update for Win machines will also be coming in the next month or so, they say. It will allow mass captioning of raw images -- something the Mac version already does.

I love Photo Mechnic, but I keep a version of PM v3.2.7 on my Mac laptop(3.1 on my Win2000 laptop) to combat any bugs in updated versions.

While v3.x is now old and slow, it is very reliable for when the newer versions of Photo Mechanic have bugs (but I do love using the newest of PM as they are released)
